New Hires : Blacky & Rocksey

Hi, it’s Rocksey.

Blacklist Tattoo Parlour just made two new hires, and yeah, it’s us. Blacky Lister and me. Before you ask, no, we don’t need payroll. We work for praise, structure, and the occasional snack.

Here’s the deal. The Blacklist Platform has been in the works for about 18 months, and it’s finally live. Booking, merch, and events are now in one spot, built to make life easier for clients and the crew. But the real win is what happens behind the curtain.

The shop shouldn’t have to waste time chasing messages, hunting old links, or manually repeating the same answers all day. That’s not art time. That’s admin time. So the platform was built to take pressure off the humans.

That’s where the “new hires” come in.

Blacky Lister is the Site Watch lead. He monitors the platform, keeps an eye on new features, and makes sure everything stays clean and consistent as the crew continues doing what they do best. I run HR, which means I’m in charge of order, accountability, and making sure nobody’s trying to reinvent the wheel every five minutes. Together, we’re basically the guard dogs of the system. If something breaks, if something’s unclear, if something needs tightening, we flag it fast.

Why does that matter to you?

Because every minute the crew saves on admin is more time spent where it counts: with clients, with art, and with the actual tattoo experience. More focus. Better communication. Cleaner booking flow. Easier event updates. And merch that doesn’t require a scavenger hunt.

So yeah, the platform is live. But it’s not just a launch. It’s a shift. Less noise, more craft.

Go check it out, book your next piece, and keep an eye on the events calendar.

Rocksey approved.
